The SHE program provides comprehensive maternal health services for pregnant women recovering from substance use.

SHE is designed to help you and your baby as you work toward a path to recovery. Services are designed to help substance exposed infants and mothers. SHE can help you create a healthy future for yourself and your baby.

SHE breaks down the barriers you face as a pregnant woman in recovery. Services are designed to help substance exposed infants and mothers, and SHE can help you and your baby to follow a healthy path. Through partnerships across all systems, SHE provides connections to resources to support maternal health for both mom and baby. Partnerships include: hospital networks, medical providers, medical and legal teams, Maternal Child Health Consortium affiliates, residential treatment providers, sober housing, and emergency and long term housing providers.

  • recovery support services
  • mental health and wellness
  • workforce development
  • financial supports
  • domestic violence concerns
  • transportation to appointments
  • legal services
  • safe housing/sober housing
  • food, nutrition, WIC

  • parenting classes

Trauma informed therapists will help you with mental health, trauma, substance use and interest in MAT assessments. MAT is provided under the psychiatrist and/or APN/Nurse Manager.

Referral Information 

SHE is an open referral program for pregnant women and new moms (up to 16 weeks postpartum) age 18+ in Hunterdon, Morris and Sussex, and Warren. Counties. Referrals are accepted from all partners and organizations. Self referrals are accepted.
