Safe & Supportive Housing

Safe & Supportive Housing

Center For Family Services provides a full continuum of safe and supportive housing. With 20 homes across New Jersey, Center For Family Services provides safe housing for children, teens, young adults, and moms and their children in need of a place to live, victims and survivors of domestic violence, and unaccompanied minors. Our services include LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

The safe housing continuum inlcudes emergency shelters, group homes, residential care, shelter homes, transitional living programs, and supportive housing. Safe and Supportive Housing services are available in Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Mercer, and Gloucester Counties.

Additionally, Center For Family Services offers crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and prevention services to youth up to age 21 experiencing homelessness through Street Outreach services. Counselors work to help teens and young adults who are facing homelessness, have runaway or are couch-surfing find a safe and stable place to live.

In the last year, Center For Family Services was home to more than 400 people, helping address the needs of:

  • children and teens experiencing homelessness and in need of a safe place to live;
  • moms and their babies in need of safe housing
  • women and their children escaping domestic violence
  • unaccompained children in need of family unification services

If you are a young person under the age of 21 experiencing homelessness contact the 24/7 helpline at 800.355.0660
